How to create a backup of my Concrete5 website?

Every website owner needs to know that the work done is safe no matter what happens. That’s why the backup process is in place to preserve the content of your website. All of our Concrete5 hosting packages provide an automatic backup once a week, but you can perform one yourself and even download it on your computer for maximum security.

If you need to create a backup you have to follow certain procedures. The easiest way to do it is to download all of your Concrete5 files via FTP and then export your database. To create a backup of the files associated with the application, you should simply download them via FTP, following the instructions here.

Afterward, to export your Concrete5 MariaDB database, go to your cPanel and access phpMyAdmin. From there, select the database you want to export and use the Export option to download a copy of it.
