SMF Users administration

 

 

SMF (Simple Machines Forum) provides very advanced and extensive interface to manage your Forum users. It can be found in the menu on the right. The entire tab named "Members" is dedicated to this activity:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The first tab named "Members" is used to show you all your users. The table that will be generated is interactive. You can click on each username to open the user's profile and possibly edit it.

 

The second one, which is named "Membergroups" is the part of your Administration center, where you can divide your users into different groups, by different criterias.

 

In the "Permissions" menu, you can manage your Users' access level. They can be divided in Regular Members, Guests, Administrators or Moderators. There you can also define every group's permissions. All these tasks can be performed from the "Modify menu".
