How to create a new forum

 

The forums and the categories that they are divided into are being managed also from the administration area. On the right side of the screen, you should find the "Forum admin category".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clicking on the "Management" link will take you to the page where your forums are being managed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see, you can create a new forum by filling its name in the respective field "Create new forum" and by clicking the "Create new forum" button:

 

 

 

 

 

Some more information regarding your new forum has to be provided prior to its creation. Clicking the "Create new forum" button will take you to the page where you can define various major aspects of your forum, such as its description, its category and most important - its status.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note that the status of the new forum must be "Unlocked" in order for it to be active. You can further modify other aspects of an already created forum from the Forum manager menu. Each single forum has an "Edit" link next to it.

 

 

 

 

You can also change the forum's order, by using the "Move up" and "Move down" options, which are next to the "Edit" link.
