Creating New Categories

 

Forums in phpBB can be divided in categories. They are being controlled also from the "Forum Admin" category from the menu on the left.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can create new forum categories by filling in the respective field next to the "Create new category" button.

 

 

 

Once you click the "Create new category" button the category will be created. To move a forum from one category to another, you should click on the "Edit" link next to the forum in the "Forum admin" -> "Management" menu.

 

 

 

 

There you should choose a category from the dropdown menu named "Category".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you are done, you should confirm your change with the "Update" button.
