phpBB3 Administration

You should log in with the administrative username and password, which you have set during the installation process, if you want to start managing your forum. Then click on the link at the bottom of the forum page Administration Control Panel.

Firstly, the best to do is to set the general preferences for your forum, and in the time you are making changes in it, you should temporary disable it. So click on the link Board settings from the left menu in the Administration Control Panel. From this menu the general settings for your phpBB3 forum can be set - Default style, Name and Description for your forum, and the date format and time zone as well.

When you are ready, you should click on the button Submit at the end of the page to save the changes. The next important option for your forum is to set the way in which users register. From the main menu select the link "User registration settings".

After you have finished editing the forum settings, click on the button Submit at the bottom of the screen. Click the link Board index in the Administration section to check the changes.
