Hello everybody! I'm still a newbie with the typo3 CMS application, so thank you in advance for the answers!
If I have two sites (with different domains) that I want to use typo3 with, is it possible to have one typo3 installation which will manage both sites or I should have typo3 installed on each of them?

Absolutely! You can add new domain record to the Typo3 installation and have two domains running on one script.
