Coppermine vs Gallery2 ???

Hi everybody! Currently I've a e-commerce site for my online business, but I'm willing to add a personal gallery to this. The problem is that I'm still not exactly sure whether to choose Coppermine or the Gallery2 application. I read a lot of superlatives for these applications and that's why I almost ruled out the other opportunities. Still, I should choose the one or the another. Could you help me to understand the differences and the advantages between them and to finally have my personal gallery up and running.

I have not used Gallery2 yet, but I have a fair experience with Coppermine, thus I am unable to compare them, but the Coppermine gallery has a lot of nice templates created for and its really really easy to use.
